chronus: I've read Rothbard's For A New Liberty and I recommend it highly. His writing is great, very clear, concise and logical. Also, his statements are all supported with great footnotes explaining history and references.  
People who don't "get it" might get the wrong impression about the subject matter. I think anyone reading his works will find some common ground and won't be offended by it, even though extreme in many ways.
