Are you ready?
Want to order tobacco off the Internet? Read this.
Posted by amsterdamn 13 years ago
I love to smoke. I smoke a lot. I've been smoking since the age of 12, which was half my life ago. Point is, I don't think I'll ever stop. Since it is such an expensive habit it only makes sense to find a way to save as much money as possible when buying cigarettes. Where will you find the best deals? On the web, of course.
I roll my own cigarettes with DRUM tobacco. Not only is it much better than any major US brand cigarette I've ever tried, it is also much cheaper. After shipping I pay $31.15 for twelve pouches at Kill Buck Trading Post. Each pouch will last one week. So, I only spend about $135 a year. To put that into perspective, for you non-smokers, I used to smoke Marlboro cigarettes at one carton a week. If I bought them by the pack, which I often did, I could easily spend $35 a week. That's nearly two grand a year. I now live where Marlboro's are made and around here they are relatively cheap; about 20 bucks a carton. That's still a grand a year.
Anyway, getting to the point of all this, I received a letter with my latest purchase from Kill Buck Trading Post. Looks like you're not going to be able to order tobacco with your credit card online in the near future. Here are the first two paragraphs:
Visa USA and Master charge USA have determined that they no longer want their credit cards used for the purpose of purchasing tobacco by Internet or mail order. They are forcing the credit card processors to terminate merchant account of companies who sell tobacco by Internet or mail order. I was put on notice by my old processor and have since obtained another processor, only to find out January 27, 2005 that my new processor has terminated some of their accounts also. Discover and American Express are expected to do the same. Any day now, I expect to receive the same termination notification from my new processor.
It is my belief that Tobacco Free Kids Organization spearheads this effort. If you have Internet access, you can go to their website It is my belief they are being funded by the states to eliminate all non-face to face sales. They say it is to eliminate sales to kids, but we all know it is so you can pay the tax your state feels you owe to them so they can spend it frivolously as they do with the rest of the tax money you give them.
That last sentence is absolutely correct. Can you even own a credit card before you're 18? I don't know, I'm really asking. I do know that Kill Buck Trading Post verifies your age (must be at least 21) with the information you provide them, and they follow-up with a phone call after you order to get your driver's license number. They also require a signature from me upon delivery. Besides that, do politicians really believe that this is going to keep kids from smoking? Do they even care that kids smoke? Anybody under 18 who wants to smoke will do it. I know. I can tell you that when I was in school it was just as easy to acquire tobacco and alcohol as it is for me now. No, nobody is "thinking about the children", they just want your money (" they can spend it frivolously as they do with the rest of the tax money you give them").
Buy major brands of cigarettes for under 13 bucks a carton at while you still can.
Remember Iran's earthquake a year ago?
Posted by amsterdamn 13 years ago
I was reading about the recent tsunami/earthquake in Asia on the internet today when I came across this timeline: Largest and Deadliest Earthquakes by Year, 1990 - 2004 on the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program website. Note the date of Iran's earthquake last year. So, I look a little more and I find Iran's Dec. 26th Earthquake Report. They also already have a Preliminary Earthquake Report for the recent disaster in Asia. According to this information these two earthquakes are the deadliest in the last decade and occurred exactly one year apart within an hour. Quite a strange coincidence.

Video of my RC truck
Posted by amsterdamn 13 years ago
Yeah, so a friend of mine built a go-kart track in his backyard. How cool is that? Lucky for me it doubles as a RC track. Good stuff. This past weekend he built a ramp for me and another friend (Frost) brought his video camera. Here's the link:
There are three Windows Media File videos. Right click on them, "save target as...." to save them to your computer.
For a closer look at the truck, I put a few pictures on this website:

The New World Order
Posted by amsterdamn 13 years ago
A Chronological History of the New World Order
"In the mainline media, those who adhere to the position that there is some kind of "conspiracy" pushing us towards a world government are virulently ridiculed. The standard attack maintains that the so-called "New World Order" is the product of turn-of-the-century, right-wing, bigoted, anti-semitic racists acting in the tradition of the long-debunked Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, now promulgated by some Militias and other right-wing hate groups."
"The historical record does not support that position to any large degree..."
"The term "New World Order" has been used thousands of times in this century by proponents in high places of federalized world government. Some of those involved in this collaboration to achieve world order have been Jewish. The preponderance are not, so it most definitely is not a Jewish agenda."
"For years, leaders in education, industry, the media, banking, etc., have promoted those with the same Weltanschauung (world view) as theirs. Of course, someone might say that just because individuals promote their friends doesn't constitute a conspiracy. That's true in the usual sense. However, it does represent an "open conspiracy," as described by noted Fabian Socialist H.G. Wells in The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution (1928)."
"In 1913, prior to the passage of the Federal Reserve Act President Wilson's The New Freedom was published, in which he revealed: "Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U. S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.""
"On November 21, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt wrote a letter to Col. Edward Mandell House, President Woodrow Wilson's close advisor: "The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson... " " continued...
When Pres Bush (Sr) started using the term during his administration, one was led to believe that he or his advisor made up the term. Here are [more] references to the term that refute any claim that it originated with Bush.

A few quotes:
"All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order." --David Rockefeller
"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the National autodetermination practiced in past centuries"--David Rockefeller in an address to a Trilateral Commission meeting in June of 1991
David Rockefeller is Founder and Chairman of the Trilateral Commission. Mr. Rockefeller serves as Honorary Chairman of the Americas Society, the Council on Foreign Relations and Rockefeller University
"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government." - Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991
"[The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it's perceptions." -- Henry Kissenger, World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , April 19th 1994
"My country's history, Mr. President, tells us that it is possible to fashion unity while cherishing diversity, that common action is possible despite the variety of races, interests, and beliefs we see here in this chamber. Progress and peace and justice are attainable. So we say to all peoples and governments: Let us fashion together a new world order." -- Henry Kissinger, in address before the General Assembly of the United Nations, October 1975)
"How to Achieve The New World Order" -- title of book excerpt by Henry Kissinger, in Time magazine (March 1994)
"By the end of this decade (2000 AD), we will live under the first One World Government that has ever existed in the society of nations... a government with absolute authority to decide the basic issues of human survival. One world government is inevitable." - Pope John Paul, from the book, The Keys of This Blood: Pope John Paul II Versus Russia and the West for Control of the New World Order.

Email (spam) just pisses me off
Posted by amsterdamn 13 years ago
Yeah, so I've been slack as hell for the last month. I haven't deleted any emails in my main inbox for this long. This was probably a mistake. I knew I received a crapload of email, but this is just insane.... 2000 emails in one month!
I do get some "Google News Alert" emails, as you can see, but this really is only a small fraction of the mail I get.
All this started when I put up my website. Even though I use Hiveware Enkoder, I still get spammed like mad. I get a different Nigerian scam email every week. Penis enlargers, viruses, Viagra, and Valium make up a large percentage of my email.
So, my message to spammers: Fuck you!

Some al-Qaeda History For You
Posted by amsterdamn 14 years ago
In 1979, the CIA initiated a massive program, of covert military aide, to indigenous Islamic tribes in Afghanistan opposition to the Russian military invasion of that country. The Russians had formed a coalition with several Afghani tribes from the north of that country which are feferred to as the Northern Alliance. The tribes supported by the CIA were called the 'Mujahadeen' by the western press. Ronald Reagan in 1986 euphemistically referred to the Mujahadeen as the 'Freedom Fighters' of central Asia. Elements within the Mujahadeen later branched off to become al-Qaeda - again with full CIA support and funding.
The leader of al-Qaeda is a Saudi Arabian who had been educated in Europe - whoe name is Osama bin Laden. Osama bin Laden's father wah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Laden, who founded and built bin Laden Brothers Construction Company. Later the company was renamed, The Saudi bin Laden Group. It should also be noted that from the 1980's - Osama bin Laden was a CIA asset - whose western cover name was: Tim Osman.
The bin Laden family is one of the wealthiest in Saudi Arabia and has been instrumental in building dozens of American military bases in the Middle East. The bin Laden family is closely connected with the ruling sheiks of Suadi Arabia, and has strong political and personal connections around the world.
The bin Laden family, and the Bush families, have been friends and business partners for many years. In 1977, George Bush Jr. started Arbusto Energy Co., in Midland, Texas. One of his first and major investors was Salem bin Laden, who at that time had become the president of The Saudi bin Laden Group. Salem happened to be the older brother of Osama bin Laden.
Another interesting connection is, Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz. Mahfouz, is one of the richest men in the world, and was also a major investor in Arbusto Energy Co. Further, he was operational director of the corrupt BCCI between 1986 and 1990. According to CIA director James Woolsey, in testimony to the U.S. Senate in 1998, Mahfouz was a major contributor to Osama and al-Qaeda. Oh, one more little detail, Mahfouz's sister is: Osama bin Laden's wife. It's like on big happy family.

A LinkFilter user....

Somebody here at LF sent an email to BuzzFlash and it got published here (scroll down to second post). I assume this person is a LF user because the email is almost a word-for-word copy of Link#54864. This person asked: "I haven't seen this kicking around before -- anyone know of where the full version might be?" If this person is you, and in case you had not already noticed, the answer could be found in the comments. I realized later after I had posted link 54864 that the voice in the video is John Pilger. This is Breaking the Silence. I've got the 36mb WMV file and you can download it by clicking on breaking_the_silence.wmv here (35.7mb is the file size and 52 minutes is how long the video is). I do not know if this was actually shown on the BBC. But it was definitely on ITV. I probably have many videos you haven't seen kicking around. I added a bunch of them where you will find Breaking the Silence.
Best Damn Pasta Dish. Ever.
Posted by amsterdamn 14 years ago
I came up with the recipe on my own in the last couple of years. I say it's the best damn pasta dish you will ever get to eat. If you prepare this for somebody, it is guaranteed to get you laid.
I've always just thrown this together and have never written instructions or an ingredient list. This means the following weights and measures will likely vary since I just guessed them all. This will serve two very hungry people.
• 1 pound fettuccini pasta
• 3/4 pound chicken breast
• 8oz grated, aged parmesan cheese
• 3oz shredded, aged parmesan cheese
• 8oz heavy cream (aka: heavy whipping cream)
• 3/4 pound sliced baby portabello mushrooms
• 3 egg yolks
• 1 bulb of garlic
• White wine
• Whole milk
• Butter
• Olive oil
• Blackening seasoning
• Black pepper
• Oregano
• Salt
Grill baby portabello mushrooms with olive oil, a clove of crushed garlic, and lots of black pepper. In a pot (while smoking pot) mix about 3 tablespoons of 100% pure Italian olive oil (I like Delallo), 3 tablespoons of butter (salted or unsalted, it does not matter), one bulb (or about a dozen cloves) of crushed organically grown garlic, a couple shots of white wine (cooking wine works for me, but maybe you know of something better), and a little bit of oregano. Stir for a few minutes after the butter has melted and then add the heavy cream, a few shots of whole milk, and three egg yolks. Stir lots. Don't allow egg yolk to cook in chunks. Continue to stir often as it heats up. It is important that the sauce remains consistent and the ingredients do not separate. It is best to stir continuously from start to finish. When it is hot enough to melt the grated parmesan cheese, add it slowly (buy good aged parmesan cheese, because the cheep crap in the green can won't work). Don't add the cheese all at once because it needs a chance to melt. Must stir continuously while adding. Add those mushrooms and you're done with the sauce.
Cut chicken breasts into small, bite-size pieces. Cover the chicken with melted butter and immediately cover with blackening seasoning. I really recommend using Chef Paul Prudhommes' "Blackened Redfish Magic". The chicken should be thickly coated with at least 1/2oz of this seasoning. Then add lots of black pepper. Use freshly grounded black pepper. If you use pre-ground, go out and buy a grinder and fill it. Pre-ground sucks. Now grill chicken.
Boil water. Follow instructions on packaging. Recommend adding a little bit of olive oil to help prevent the pasta from sticking together. Also add a pinch of salt. Stir lots.
Divide pasta among plates. Pour sauce over pasta. Place chicken on top. Cover in aged, shredded parmesan cheese. Serve with your choice of good wine. Enjoy. Recover. Get laid. Smoke a cigarette. Thank me later.
