FoolProof: Sorry for your loss, buddy. We both know, though, that it was about time. I like to think that a weight is lifted off of all of you and also off of her. Finally, you and your family will be able to find solace in knowing that she's at last relieved of all worry and discomfort and has found peace.

Thank you
Horpy SpoonDigger: I wish I could say I am sorry for your loss but that would be shallow and superficial coming from me. You've shared too much with me and I know too many details.

I am relieved for you and your family but mostly for your mother In-Law. I'm am happy for Beth that her long bout of suffering and indignity is over. I know that I would never want to exist that way and I can't fathom she wanted it either.

This ordeal your family has been enduring is now over. You and your famiy can now begin to grieve in a healthy and normal way.

I'd like to say one more thing to you that you deserve the right to hear. I know I'm not the one that should be saying these things to you but I have a feeling you may never hear them uttered from the lips of those who should be speaking them. Thank you! Thank you for showing so much caring and compassion for your mother In-Law. I thank you for putting your life on hold for an entire year and personally caring for her. Although she had no respect for your beliefs and cared little of your ilk, you ignored all of that. She was in despirate need and you responded. You welcomed her into your home, litterly fed her, clothed her, kept her clean and personally attended to her needs for an entire year. This was a burden that should not have been yours to bear. When those who should have helped did not, you stepped forward. I Thank you. For I am sure that If Beth had not been stripped of her ability to do so, she would have thanked you too.

May god give you and your family the strength to deal with days ahead.

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these. George Washington Carver
