It’s hard to write this without sounding like a prig. But it’s just as hard to erase the images that planted the idea for this essay, so here goes. The scene is a middle school auditorium, where girls in teams of three or four are bopping to pop songs at a student talent show. Not bopping, actually, but doing elaborately choreographed re-creations of music videos, in tiny skirts or tight shorts, with bare bellies, rouged cheeks and glittery eyes.     For a nation obsessed with punishing its sex offenders and finding entertainment while setting up stings of would be molester during "prime time" this plea for sanity from the Op-ED page of the NYT needs to be heard. Now pornographic movie studios are staying ahead of the curve by releasing high-definition DVDs.     They have discovered that the technology is sometimes not so sexy. The high-definition format is accentuating imperfections in the actors - from a little extra cellulite on a leg to wrinkles around the eyes.     Am I a bad person because I find this hilarious? This is an invisible font designed to get around some VCD (click here for other VCD links.) menuing problems in Nero 5.5. Can also be used in any other program that automatically generates text you don't want to see. This font, when used in combination with the newest version of Nero, will allow you to bypass the built in menu generator and create your own menus in Photoshop.
