User Poll
Algebra and Software Programming - what are the chances a person can make a living as a programmer if that person is not good at algebra?

Zero.
Might be able to fake it if they have a good enough development environment.
It's possible, the mental skills overlap is not that strong.
Flash(tm)!
They would probably end up being the person who hires other people to program.

You Decide: Ghosts Caught On Tape? the "other" pile

Orbs and books flying around the library:

The second piece of evidence is a surveillance tape that shows a library book flying off a shelf, without any apparent human help.

On the videotape, you will see the incident at time code 9:38:36, when the book falls off the shelf, from left to right, and hits the floor.

Tell me what you think.

Just prior to that mark on the tape, I see what looks like a person in a ballcap behind that bookshelf. I'd be willing to bet it was that person who made the book "fly off the shelf".

I didn't see it, either. Then again, I'm on my first caffeinated beverage of the evening.

At the risk of sounding like an ass, it's the link marked "video" near the top of the article.

I see it now, but it's being a whore. It won't play the video. It's audio only in FF or MSIE.
